Report reaching us at PowerUpNG News reveal that Ikeja Electric billed a vacant apartment for seven months. The complainant, one Mr. Adeniran O. Michael (@Emiiyaseyi), stated that the distribution company has been notified more than four times since February of this and they still kept sending in bills even when notified and didn’t respond to the complaints. To make matters worse, Ikeja Electric came to disconnect the vacant apartment for not paying these bills.
The complainant also revealed that Ikeja Electric is owing them over 50 thousand Naira but they don’t want to acknowledge it. He further revealed that he hasn’t had power supply for two weeks and they distribution company still brings him inflated bill. He concluded that he has been requesting for prepaid meter for almost two years and that demand has also not been met.
