Considered to be the most outspoken voice in the power sector, Power Up Nigeria, an NGO which soft-launched its Helpline Platform a few weeks back following the launch of its online news desk platform has yet taken a monstrous step into rewarding its visitors, customers and followers with a new project which it tags #PowerUpWeeklyTrivia.

Online Assess, a newly launched online assessment CBT platform partnered with PowerUpNG to carry out the rewarding weekly trivia for a window period of 52weeks on the heels of its success with the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered annual Young Managers Competition 2018. The CBT platform hosted the recently concluded NIM YMC 2018 Test that saw 250 registrants while over 150 took the test.
Both parties; PowerUpNG and Online Assess are excited about this partnership and look forward to a yearlong opportunity of educating Nigerians about the power sector as well as rewarding deserving winners.
The publisher of PowerUpNG, Adetayo Adegbemle, revealed that the NGO is only trying to get Nigerians involved, enlightened about the power sector and have them cognitive of what brought us as citizens, to this point in the power sector.
A representative of Online Assess simply added that it is of importance to put our brain to test thereby enhancing our knowledge of various subjects. He concluded that the organization is working in line of the Thomas Huxley quote quoted as “Know everything about something and something about everything”.
The project would kick off on the online Assess platform on Wednesday 1st of August 2018 and it would contain 10 questions strictly on the Power Sector to be answered within 10 minutes. A service fee of N100 (Hundred Naija) would be charged and the prize for the 1st week is a #10,000 (Ten thousand).
